Holiday Money

As mentioned before, I go hard with collecting finances around the holidays. Knowing that I spend a lot of money during this time of year especially for Christmas, having three spoiled children. I usually pick up extra work a little seasonal position to assure I have the funds needed to expense my holiday spending. I also always start picking up gifts around Halloween time, giving myself plenty of time to get everything. As my children are getting older my oldest being sixteen years old, I don’t go as hard as I used to, I try to make one big purchase they want and get winter clothes and boots and give the oldest two spending money. Although it isn’t a significant amount of stuff it adds up quickly and I still end up spending a good amount of money. I feel that starting my shopping early is something that I would always do regardless of my finances. I love plan and being prepared and that gives me the flexibility to do so. I would say most years I spend at least a thousand on my children gifts, so having the time is essential. I eventually want to start taking Christmas trips with my family, so I will need even more money, so I definitely want to get my finances to where I’m praying for.
